Maassluis
The temporary ice-skating rink measuring 450 m2 was rented for the first time by the Stichting Kunstijsbaan Maassluis in 2005. More than 10,000 visitors came to show off their skating skills at an idyllic location in the city centre of Maassluis. The organising Association provided events from school skating to company parties.
Quick and successful
The construction of the ice-skating rink was completely achieved in just six weeks. Swedice also supplied the tent that covered the rink, the boarding and skate rental facilities as well as the mobile ice-skating rink.
The first version of the ice-skating rink in Maassluis has become a resounding success! The intention is to make this ice-skating rink into an annual returning event with the enthusiasm of the organisation and visitors.
