Swedice tour de force in Spain

We are currently very busy in realising a multisport facility in the municipality of Logroño in Northern Spain. The most important starting points are swimming, fitness and skating.

Design expertise, ice-skating rink engineering and cooling systems where, in particular, being sought for this project. Swedice has supported this total project in partnership with Teinsa s.r.l. where Teinsa provided the cooling technology and Swedice was responsible for the engineering and the delivery of the rink systems.

The rink is located in a covered hall where you can look through a glass side wall into the hall next door. The challenge was mainly the fact that the rink will be open 11 months a year and the temperature in the city in the summer period can increase to 35 degrees Celsius.

The project will open on 25 December 2006.
